Who knew? Texting is the greener communication choice . Sending brief messages from your cell phone or other handheld device actually conserves energy. Sending messages from computers uses more than 30 times the electricity. So go ahead and add unlimited texting to phone plan. It's good for the planet! Just don't text while you drive ;)
